Senior Account Person
The senior account person that we are looking for does not fit the mold of a classic account executive. Our new account person must be capable of multitasking new business, project management, general management and pure creative endeavors. You will, of course, work directly with clients but also be integrated into creative assignments. All of us at Lexicon have multiple responsibilities. We are looking for a person who has a proven track record of managing accounts and working with creative teams. You will also have to demonstrate creative skills and the ability to write a great brief and give a compelling presentation.
Aside from these responsibilities, we are looking for a person with strong scheduling and project timeline management skills.
The creative associate we are looking for will have a very impressive portfolio of case histories that demonstrate they can blend strategy and real-world challenges with creativity. You don’t need to love naming, but you do need to love problem-solving and working collaboratively in a fast-paced, always-changing environment.
You will get extra points if you can show us examples of thought leadership and the ability to help other team members and clients think conceptually both in and out of the box.
Associate Creative Director
The associate creative director we are looking will have a portfolio of compelling case histories that demonstrate they can lead projects, that they can easily gain the confidence of clients and that they have made major contributions to their clients’ successes.
Superb communication skills are a must, as is lots of experience with both large and small clients. Our ideal candidate can listen to a client, extract what they truly need and exercise sound judgment in guiding projects to their successful completion. This judgment would need to include applications of brand strategy, sound rationalizations and a keen creative eye.
Our associate creative director does not have to be in love with naming. They don’t have to love crossword puzzles or think that naming is fun. They do need to have proven problem-solving skills, the ability to distill information to key insights quickly and relish the idea of developing brand names for the next generation of big ideas.
You will get extra points if you can show us examples of thought leadership and the ability to help other team members and clients think conceptually both in and out of the box. Extra points also awarded for presentation skills.
(6-9 month fellowship)
Our next creative fellow is a very good writer. They might still be in college earning a degree in literature or creative writing or they may have just graduated and are looking for a first job. As a creative fellow, you will be fully integrated into Lexicon. You will participate in client input sessions, conduct field research and develop both names and supporting copy. You must be able to blend strategy and real-world challenges with novel ideas to create marketplace-changing names. You don’t need to love naming, but you do need to love problem-solving and working collaboratively in a fast-paced, always-changing environment. Ideally, you would be able to see patterns quickly and adjust strategies accordingly.
