Next Issue Media, a joint venture among top publishers, decided to take a cue from Spotify and Netflix and create a subscription-based online reading platform. They asked Lexicon for a name as compelling as the business concept: the content of the world’s most popular magazines available on a single app.
Solution.
Texture is substantive, like the service itself, and recalls the sensation of holding a physical magazine in your hands. Shortly after launch, Texture was named one of the Best of 2016 on the Apple App Store, and it continues to add titles to its already expansive catalog.
