The Zune may so far have failed to dent the iPod’s market share, but it hasn’t stopped pushing the boundaries of what can be done in a pocket-sized player. The Zune HD is the first MP3 player with a tuner for HD radio, so it can stream clearer versions of many local FM stations, as well as digital-only channels. Now that Microsoft has shown it can be done, look for other manufacturers to start including these features.
